Jaquiski Tartt (born February 18, 1992) is an American football safety for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Samford.[1]

Early years
Tartt attended Davidson High School in Mobile, Alabama. Tartt played basketball in high school and did not starting playing football until his senior season.[2][3] Despite playing football for one season, he committed to Samford University to play college football.
College career
Tartt attended Samford from 2010 to 2014. After redshirting as a freshman, he saw his first action in 2011. As a redshirt sophomore in 2012, he became a starter and remained throughout his senior season. For his career he had 277 tackles and six interceptions.[4]
Professional career
Tartt was the first player from Samford to be selected to play in the Senior Bowl.[5][6] Tartt was selected with the 46th pick in the 2015 NFL draft, by the San Francisco 49ers. This makes Tartt the highest drafted Samford player in school history.
