Yaser Tabbara

Yaser Tabbara is Executive Director of the Syrian American Council,[1] and is an international human rights attorney, and an advocate of Arab and Muslim American rights. He has long played a role in Syrian politics and has been working to bring educational reforms to Syria. During the 2011 Syrian uprising, after the Assad regime responded to the protests with violence, Tabbara took a stance in opposition to the government. He is a member of the National Council of Syria.[2]
