Excerpt: Welcome to the fifteenth issue of the Food Safety and Quality Update. We appreciate your continued support and would like to apologize for the virus that was distributed to the list this past month. The messages did not originate from within FAO, but rather a virus ?spoofed? the email address of the FAO List Owner and so as a result, the messages were distributed to the entire list. FAO has taken extra precautions to ensure that this will not happen again. We appreciate your understanding and your valuable feedback to continuously improve our communication with all of you. Information Now Available On-line Provision of Scientific Advice workshop report A Joint FAO/WHO Workshop was held on 27? 29 January 2004 to review and provide guidance to the two organizations on the provision of scientific advice to the Codex Alimentarius Commission and to member countries. The Workshop was part of a broader consultative process, the first stage being an e-forum (1 October- 14 November 2003).
