Introduction: Under an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tunisia, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Norwegian Agency for International Development (NORAD), the fishery research vessel ?Dr. Fridtjof Nansen? was scheduled to run an acoustic survey of the fishery resources in Tunisian waters in March 1981.
